John Demers

John is a seasoned health care executive with in-depth experience developing business and marketing strategies and executing plans for new and well established businesses.

He has spent the last 25 years as an executive at St Peter's Health Partners (a member of Trinity Health), Group Health Incorporated (GHI), EmblemHealth, and Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP) leading CDPHP’s Medicare Advantage division. John launched his strategic consulting practice, J.Demers Consulting LLC., in January of 2018. 

John has extensive expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, product design, new business development, and financial management. He has also launched high impact branding, communications, advertising, public relations, social media, and customer engagement programs. 

Working with businesses large and small, he has a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations while managing lines of business in matrixed organizations through growth and turnaround periods, achieving revenue and profitability goals and diverse stakeholder buy-in.
